Recipe For Chipotle Dressing

Chipotle dressing is a type of dressing or sauce made with ingredients such as mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, and chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. It is often used as a topping for salads or as a dip for chips or vegetables. The dressing typically has a smoky, spicy flavor from the chipotle peppers.

Ingredients:

1.   1/2 cup sour cream.

2.   1/2 cup mayonnaise.

3.   2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped.

4.   1 tablespoon adobo sauce from the can.

5.   1 tablespoon honey.

6.   1 tablespoon fresh lime juice.

7.   1/4 teaspoon ground cumin.

8.   Salt and pepper, to taste.

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped chipotle peppers, adobo

sauce, honey, lime juice, and cumin.

Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

When ready to serve, give the dressing a quick stir and enjoy!

This dressing is perfect for salads, tacos, or as a dip for veggies. You can also use it as a

marinade for chicken, fish, or pork. Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce can be found in the

international aisle of most supermarkets. Be sure to taste the dressing before you serve it and

adjust the seasoning as needed. If you want more heat, add more chipotle peppers. If you want

more sweetness, add more honey. Enjoy!
